The WEA works with community organisations, trade unions, employers and Job Centre Plus across England and in Scotland to deliver education to adults of all ages.
We reach 50,000 adults every year, many of whom are dealing with and responding to life changes. Typically we deliver short courses from two to 30 hours, with some leading to longer qualification programmes, either in partner premises or online via Zoom and Canvas, our virtual learning environment.
Facing Change Together
Our Facing change together offer is aimed at adults of working age who are at risk of redundancy or who are looking to explore alternative employment options.
WEA classes are taught using Zoom and our virtual learning environment Canvas. Our approach online is to replicate as much as we can a learner led, face to face experience.
